Scotsman: Charlie Gordon was ousted in a bloodless coup yesterday, which paved the way for a younger generation to take control of Glasgow City Council. His replacement is Steven Purcell who, at only 32, will be the youngest person ever to hold the job.
Can't say I know much about him except he's the genius responsible for all these school mergers in Glasgow.
And that's been a huge success, hasn't it?
