Beam report disappoints Holyrood

There was a report into why a beam fell down in the Scottish Parliament's debating chamber.

It has "been met with 'huge' disappointment by MSPs", apparently.

Not just a little disappointment; huge disappointment.

Makes you wonder what they were expecting. Some great work of literature, perhaps? For it to answer the question as to why it fell down with something more exciting and interesting than, "because it wasn't stuck to the roof properly"?

Honestly! Who'd want to be a beam-reporter these days?
